"The Buco Lamp redefines the classic hanging lamp, in the past found everywhere over kitchen, dining room and café tables and whose direct light created an atmosphere conducive to intimate conversations. This lamp gives pride of place to the cable. This is the element which makes it so different from the other lamps of its type as it passes through a hole in the shade (Buco in Italian). Another characteristic of the Buco is the positioning of the bulb, also quite extraordinary; it is placed focusing upwards causing the light to reflect off the inside of the shade, thus avoiding possible dazzling."
