For the past few months and c/o multiple blogs, I keep finding myself on Alex Ostrowski's site. I finally decided to get a copy of his "Note to Self" book and it's beyond lovely. I admire anyone capable of conceptualizing and assembling a hand-made book. It seems like such a rewarding and artistic endeavour to undertake. Plus, it provides the best answer to the ubiquitous "What have you been up to lately?" question. To be able to answer "Well, I made a book. Thank you for asking" somehow seems more alluring than "I finished my third chapter of my dissertation."
